Windsor High School is the ‘first to say thank you’

Windsor Central High School and the Conklin Kiwanis clubs were the “first to say thank you” to high school graduates entering the military.

On June 7, they hosted The First to Say Thank You event at the Windsor High School auditorium.

High school students honored for enlisting for military service

More than 100 area students who are getting ready to wear their country’s uniform were thanked, in advance, for their service Monday night.

Saluting Tomorrow’s Troops from Bucks and Montco

Every year, certain teenagers around the country make the life-changing decision to enlist in the Army, Marine Corps, Navy or Air Force with the brave intentions of protecting our nation. Taking on this duty, our future soldiers deserve nothing less than a big send-off.

So back in 2009, a man named Dr. Kenneth E. Hartman started a non-profit, all-volunteer organization called Our Community Salutes (OCS) to commend students who are enlisting in the military directly after they graduate high school. Read More…
