OCS Fayetteville’s recent ceremony in the local press

About 90 area high school seniors, in Fayetteville, who are enlisting in the military raised their right hands Monday night to take the oath to defend the U.S.

The seniors took part in an inaugural ceremony at Fayetteville's Crown Complex hosted by Our Community Salutes, a national nonprofit that supports high school seniors who enlist in the military.  

Ken Hartman founded the organization in 2009 after noticing schools in his home state of New Jersey seemed to focus more on students choosing to go to college after graduation and recognized athletes with college signing days….
