CHERRY HILL, NJ -- Our Community Salutes (OCS) announced today GEICO will help support and participate in America Salutes 2021, OCS’s second annual star-studded tribute on May 4th  to honor our nation’s Class of 2021 high school senior enlistees and their parents.

“We are honor to have the support and participation of GEICO in America Salutes 2021, as well as many of our 2021 OCS High School Enlistee Recognition Ceremonies being conducted across the country this spring,” said Dr. Kenneth Hartman, former US Army officer and founder and president of Our Community Salutes.

America Salutes 2021 will be hosted by John Huertas, who plays Miguel in the hit NBC Show “This is Us”. It will feature senior military leaders from all services, along with musical performances (i.e., Lee Greenwood), and short “thank you” video messages from celebrities (i.e., NBC Sports broadcast Kathyn Tappen, Celebrity Chef Robert Irvine, MSU Coach Tom Izzo), and service members in the field…including a US Astronaut aboard the International Space Station.

America Salutes 2021 can be seen across many social media platforms, as well as on Comcast OnDemand.

OCS is the only national non-profit organization to recognize and honor high school seniors (and their parents) who plan to enlist in the military immediately after high school graduation. Since 2009, OCS has honor tens of thousands of high school seniors, at more than 300 ceremonies across the country.

“GEICO is proud to support Our Community Salutes and its important mission to recognize and honor our nation’s youngest and newest service members,” states John Snead, director of GEICO’s military assistance programs. “For over 85 years, GEICO has been serving the insurance needs of America’s military service members and their families, and these young patriots and their parents deserve our respect and admiration,” said Snead.
