Social Media Manager – LinkedIn
A Volunteer Position
We are looking for help managing our LinkedIn account, pages, and advertising campaigns through LinkedIn. Work includes general management of the Our Community Salutes LinkedIn account, pages, and advertising campaigns. We anticipate that as a knowledgeable LinkedIn user, you will need approximately three hours per week to perform a few routine and requested tasks, or about 12 to 15 hours per month overall. You will “own” our LinkedIn social media channel and maximize it’s potential for OCS.
Creating giving campaigns on a scheduled basis
Tracking site and page statistics
Tracking campaigns and campaign results
Create, curate, update, and manage all published content (images, video, and writings).
Oversee design (ie: cover page, profile, thumbnails, ads, and blog).
Work with OCS Communities to collect data, photos, video, event information, or other materials that further develops the OCS LinkedIn channel and post to LinkedIn accordingly
Compile report for management showing results (ROI).
Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.
As Time Allows
Become an advocate for OCS in LinkedIn spaces, engaging in dialogue.
Design, create and manage promotions and social ad campaigns.
Develop and expand community and/or blogger outreach efforts.
Conduct online advocacy and cross-promotions.
Convert campaign qualitative data into plans for improving campaigns.
Experience managing LinkedIn accounts.
Understanding of LinkedIn analytics.
Photoshop and/or basic photo editing skills.
Strong spreadsheet and statistical analysis ability.
Ability to generate tracking and analysis reports.
Nice to Know
Experience managing a giving campaign online
Any experience with advertising accounts such as Google, Bing, Yahoo, Twitter, etc.
Understand of bidding techniques (AutoBid, CPC, CPM, etc.).
