Once Congressman Don Davis heard the mission of Our Community Salutes, and the impact we have made in communities across the country for new enlistees and their families, he knew the community he serves everyday deserved to be involved. Congressman Davis was an integral part of the first-ever Northeast North Carolina OCS Enlistee Recognition Ceremony.

OCS & Wreaths Across America

OCS is proud to have been selected by Wreaths Across America for its 2024 Live With Purpose series. The series highlights 10 nonprofits across the country that represent the 10 attributes and characteristics that define our nation’s servicemembers.

OCS was chosen to represent the theme of “Optimism for America.” We find optimism for America in every enlistee who makes the decision to serve in uniform. The selfless choice stands for something much greater than themselves. We are honored we can play a role in supporting them - as they fight for us.
