Ceremonies

Each spring, OCS honors thousands of military-bound high school graduates in OCS Enlistment Recognition Ceremonies across the nation.

Enlistment Recognition Ceremonies Program

Since 2009, OCS enlistment ceremonies have been held in banquet halls, auditoriums, and sports arenas from New York to California, attended by tens of thousands of people in appreciation of the young men and women of OCS entering military service.

OCS Communities hosts an OCS Enlistment Recognition Ceremony during the high school graduation period. These ceremonies are dedicated to recognizing a high school student’s decision to enlist in the armed services after graduation versus pursuing other opportunities available to them, such as work, college, or trade careers.

OCS events organized by parents, educators, veterans, and business and community leaders to provide liked-minded support for students, parents, and families as their family member transitions into military service.

Each OCS student enlistee receives a Certificate of Recognition from OCS, a pocket guide of the U.S. Constitution, gifts by supportive sponsors, and the recognition that their community of veterans, parents, and community leaders supports their decision to serve.

OCS ceremonies are financed by donations from supporting citizens and organizations within their respective community.

Civics

Our constitution pocket guides are a great way to build an understanding of the founding principles of our republic and the civic advancements made since it’s founding.

Our Constitution Guide

Each spring, thousands of military-bound high school graduates will be recognized by OCS Communities across the U.S and Puerto Rico.

These patriots will take an oath to defend the Constitution of the United States and its underlying principles of the freedoms we enjoy, freedoms that would not be possible without the commitment of the men and women who serve in the U.S. Armed Services.

OCS provides our newest service members with a copy of the U.S. Constitution in the form of a printed pocket guide they can carry with them wherever they go in service. We are proud to gift these guides to our new graduates and give them a deeper understanding of the U.S. Constitution they pledge to support and defend.

Our constitution pocket guides are a great way to build an understanding of the founding principles of our republic and the civic advancements made since it’s founding.

“The OCS U.S. Constitution pocket guide puts the document right in their hands, creating a meaningful connection to it and an understanding of why it’s worth defending.”
